New York Jets inexplicably called a zero cover blitz as they blew what was a game-winning position late in last week’s clash with Las Vegas Raiders. The Jets were leading by four points with time about to expire but they allowed a 46-yard TD and the decision to call that play has cost defensive co-ordinator Gregg Williams his job. That would have been a first win of the season for the Jets but instead they remain winless and they face a tough task here on the road at Seattle. The Seahawks suffered a shock loss against New York Giants last week and need to win to get back in the hunt for a play-off spot. They should be able to do that, but they are unlikely to cover the spread with the Jets boasting a +14 start.
