THE PREDICTION
Detroit Lions and Houston Texans will kick-off the Thanksgiving double-header with this clash at Ford Field with both teams hoping to put on a show after what has been a disappointing season so far. Neither team are entirely out of the post-season picture just yet but they would likely need to win-out and hope for a lot of luck going their way in terms of other results. The Texans overcame New England Patriots last week thanks to their defense putting Cam Newton under constant pressure as they improved to 3-7 but the Lions produced a poor performance as they were shutout in a 0-20 loss to Carolina Panthers. Detroit are likely to produce a response back on home turf but the Texans have shown some good signs on both sides of the ball in their recent matches so they should be able to make it three wins in their last four matches and four straight wins against the Lions.
