New Zealand vs West Indies prediction

It would be really disappointing if what has been such a well-fought series was to end with two no results due to rain, but that may be on the cards with rain forecast over the course of play here in Dunedin. The first three games were all decided by less than ten runs and you’d expect another tight encounter here if enough overs can be played.

In our preview of the abandoned fourth T20i, we touched upon the qualities of spin-bowler Ish Sodhi, after the Black Caps star had taken three wickets in each of his two appearances over the course of this series. As we suggested leading up to that game, backing him to record at least two wickets is a move well worth making as the Windies batters look to try and attack him, which brings with it a high element of risk.

New Zealand vs West Indies tip: Ish Sodhi to take 2+ wickets
