New Zealand vs Scotland prediction
Ranked second in the world, New Zealand come into the Commonwealth Games as the leading contender to Australia's crown, and they certainly boast plenty of pedigree at this level having won gold at the 2010 games.
With the ever-consistent Grace Nweke spearheading the Silver Ferns attack, they will be a force to be reckoned with in Group B and it would be a massive shock if they failed to progress to the semi-finals.
Host nation Scotland qualified automatically but they do boast some talent of their own, with up-and-coming star Cerys Finn - who recently signed for Manchester Thunder - hoping to make an impression at the event.
The Scots will be roared on by a passionate home crowd, but the class of the Silver Ferns should shine through with a comfortable New Zealand victory expected.
