  • The Netherlands have won 28 of their last 31 World Cup qualifying matches at home (D2 L1).
  • The Netherlands have scored in their last 20 World Cup qualifying matches.
  • The Netherlands have kept 24 clean sheets in their last 31 World Cup qualifying matches at home.
  • Memphis Depay has scored 20 goals in his last 15 appearances in World Cup qualifying.
  • Lithuania have won only one of their last 22 World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L17).

Netherlands vs Lithuania prediction

Ronald Koeman led the Netherlands to the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2024 and they were also impressive in the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League. However, two 1-1 draws against Poland has held the Oranje’s qualification party back and they have also been underwhelming in their performance level.

Another example of that came when they were 2-0 up in Vilnius before Lithuania made it 2-2 last month, ahead of the Dutch eventually nicking it. The Lithuanians have been the weakest side in Group G of European qualifying, sitting below a Malta side that defeated Poland the other day.

Lithuania have proven they can have joy against an unconvincing Dutch side but a comfortable home win remains the likeliest outcome for this one.

Netherlands vs Lithuania tip: Netherlands to win -1 handicap
