Both fighters were trying to break their losing streaks but Espinosa came out on top to pour more misery on De La Rosa who has now lost four in a row.

Espinosa looked great winning every round utilising his brilliant movement to pick De La Rosa apart with quick combinations. De La Rosa displayed his durability eating some big shots including some nasty elbows and hammer fists while trying to take Espinosa down. The difference was Espinosa's kickboxing and takedown defence, just as predicted.
