DARREN ELKINS VS JONATHAN PEARCE LOWDOWN
Fighting out of Sacramento, California, Darren Elkins (27-10) will be looking to make it back-to-back wins this weekend. Coming off of a win against Tristan Connelly, the 38-year-old veteran has won three out of his last five professional outings but will need a crispy performance in order to get the job done this weekend.
As for his opponent this weekend, Jonathan Pearce (13-4) has not lost a fight in over three years and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. Coming off of a TKO victory over Makwan Amirkhani, Pearce’s confidence will be through the roof heading into this weekend’s showdown against the veteran.

Heading into this weekend’s featherweight bout, despite Pearce having the height advantage, both men share the same reach.
This fight will certainly be an intriguing watch. Whenever Elkins looks down and out, he still finds a way to shock his opponents and keep coming forward. It has worked several times over his career and he will be hoping it may work this weekend. With that being said, Pearce can go all night long without tiring. His sharp grappling and efficient standup will prove to be a real problem against Elkins. From the get-go, we suspect that Pearce will look to be the aggressor and eventually get the fight to the floor and start to tee off on Elkins.
