Melbourne Storm vs Brisbane Broncos prediction

The Melbourne Storm (2nd) have won four of their last five matches, including a disciplined 16-10 victory over the Parramatta Eels in Round 22.

The Brisbane Broncos (6th) are also in strong form, winning four of their last five and coming off a stunning 60-14 demolition of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is a constant threat with the ball in hand, having amassed 167 points this season through his try-scoring prowess and elite goal-kicking (59 goals).

Captain Adam Reynolds is the architect of the Brisbane attack. He leads the team with 172 points for the season, including 77 goals.

Melbourne holds a staggering historical dominance over Brisbane, having won 42 of their 57 encounters since 1998 . This dominance is particularly pronounced at AAMI Park, a venue that has become a graveyard for visiting Broncos teams.

Brisbane's attack was potent against Souths, but Melbourne's defence at AAMI Park is a tougher challenge. The return of Haas is crucial for the Broncos' forward pack, but the Storm's historical dominance at home makes them slight favourites in this classic clash of styles.
