A high-profile encounter between two very good teams with only two points and one place separating them in the regular season table. Kristian Woolf’s Dolphins are hot, winning each of their last five games, but none of those victories came against a team of Sydney Roosters’ quality. The hosts are smarting after a shock one-point loss against lowly Wests Tigers and know that they cannot afford another defeat.
For the Roosters, they must improve defensively and we are likely to see them play in a more conservative fashion that may see them not create as much from an offensive perspective. Dolphins won’t be able to run over the Roosters like they have other teams recently and all signs point to a tight encounter with a low volume of points scored.
