St. Helens vs Leeds Rhinos prediction
Whatever the result in this match, there will be huge consequences. For Leeds Rhinos, a win takes them back to the top of Super League after Wigan Warriors overtook them on Thursday night by nilling Hull KR at the Brick Community Stadium. For St. Helens, victory brings them level on points with Hull KR but a defeat leaves them one step closer to the unthinkable prospect of not finishing inside the top six.
St. Helens will battle with everything they have despite it being a disastrous campaign and what they lack physically compared to Leeds Rhinos, they will try to make up for with heart and fight. However, this Leeds unit are just too powerful and with the attacking weapons they possess, are expected to eventually overwhelm the Saints. Whilst it would be no surprise if St. Helens remain in the contest until late on, Leeds should do enough to emerge with the points, although it would be sensible to back them via a small handicap, no more than the margin of a try.
