Two more wins will guarantee their place in the post-season and even one could be enough depending on what St. Helens do on the same night as this match. Adrian Lam’s side must take of their own business though before worrying about the Saints and that involves winning away to Huddersfield Giants.
The hosts have impressed over the course of the last few weeks, although their four-match winning run was ended by Warrington Wolves last time out. This is no longer that cakewalk Leigh may have expected it to be over a month ago and they will have to dig in hard to get the two points. In the end though, Lam’s men have that extra dose of quality which should see them edge out Huddersfield.
