Martin Landaluce vs David Goffin prediction
Martin Landaluce was one match away from his Wimbledon main draw debut but was comprehensively defeated by Alex Bolt in qualifying. His best result on clay this season was a semi-final appearance in Prague and he has made the last four in two other Challenger events. The 19-year-old from Spain is currently ranked just outside the top 130.
David Goffin made his return after a two month injury layoff at Wimbledon but was completely outclassed by Rinky Hijikata in the first-round. The veteran did make a quarter-final appearance in Munich on clay but there will be concerns over his fitness ahead of this tournament after a poor display at SW19.
Goffin will be the favourite but he may have his work cut out against an opponent who is 15 years his junior and will ask questions on clay. We expect a tight match between these two players.
