In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie at the Loro Borici Stadium in Shkoder, Vllaznia pulled off a 2-1 win against Malisheva. Laurent Xhylani put Malisheva ahead before goals from Klinti Qato and Emiljano Musta turned the game on its head for the Albanians.

Under the management of Thomas Brdaric, Malisheva finished third in Kosovo’s top-flight last season, while Vllaznia Shkoder were third in the Albanian Kategoria Superiore.
