Madagascar vs Equatorial Guinea prediction

In Group I of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Madagascar finished second and just six points behind a very strong Ghana side. Their most recent outing did see them throw in the towel a bit as they suffered a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Mali, away from home, last month.

Equatorial Guinea have been one of the emerging forces in Africa, having reached the quarter-finals of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2024. However, they have since regressed once again as they finished their recent FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with just three victories in nine matches.

Equatorial Guinea have been declining for a while and Madagascar have to be viewed as the firm favourites for quite a comfortable win here, especially with home advantage.

Madagascar vs Equatorial Guinea tip: Double chance – Madagascar to win or draw
