Luton vs AFC Wimbledon prediction

Matt Bloomfield departed Wycombe Wanderers for Luton in mid-January and he appeared to have done enough to keep the Hatters up before their 5-2 loss against West Bromwich Albion on the final day of the campaign. Their squad has since been taken apart with the departures of Thomas Kaminski, Amari’i Bell, Thelo Aasgaard, Carlton Morris and Alfie Doughty.

Johnnie Jackson led AFC Wimbledon back to the third-tier last season thanks to winning the play-off final by a goal to nil against Walsall at Wembley Stadium. The south Londoners played a tight and containing style throughout last season and that should not change.

That style of football is likely to mean AFC Wimbledon can frustrate a demanding Luton fanbase at Kenilworth Road on Friday, albeit the hosts should still get over the line.

Luton vs AFC Wimbledon tip: Luton to win & under 3.5 goals
