LNZ Cherkasy vs Gent prediction

Vitaliy Ponomaryov’s LNZ Cherkasy achieved their best ever finish in the Ukrainian Premier League last season as they finished second and qualified for UEFA competition for what is the first time ever.

They now take on a team that are something of European stalwarts in Gent. The Belgians, coached by Rik De Mil, finished fifth in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League last season and have underwhelmed for a few seasons.

Despite that underperformance, they have reached the knockout play-offs in the UEFA Europa Conference League in each of the last two seasons and they will be expected to kick off their campaign with another win here, especially at a neutral venue.

LNZ Cherkasy vs Gent tip: Gent to win & both teams to score
