Liepaja vs Austria Vienna prediction

In the first qualifying round, Liepaja overcame Montenegrin side Decic. They won the first-leg by a goal to nil before then winning by two goals to one in the second-leg. They are currently fifth in the 2026 Latvian Higher League.

They now face an Austria Vienna side that, coached by Stephan Helm, finished fourth in the Austrian Bundesliga last season. The Violets, as they are nicknamed, were beaten by Banik Ostrava in the third qualifying round of this competition last season.

Austria Vienna have won just one European tie, against Spaeri, since the summer of 2023 but they have a good chance here, albeit may not be convincing away from home in the first-leg in Latvia.

Liepaja vs Austria Vienna tip: Double chance – Austria Vienna to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
