Levski Sofia vs Sabah prediction

Levski Sofia come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Slavia Sofia in the Bulgarian First League, where they are top-of-the-table. They defeated Hapoel Be’er Sheva on penalties in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, before they then suffered a defeat to Braga in the next round.

They now face a Sabah side that were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League at the first stage with a 6-5 aggregate loss to Albert Riera’s Celje. They did then overcome Moldovan outfit Petrocub Hincesti by six goals to one on aggregate in the second qualifying round of this competition.

Sabah have shown themselves to be competitive and entertaining in Europe this season, but Levski have to be firm favourites for this one, especially at home in the first-leg.
