Legia Warsaw vs Lugano Prediction

Legia return to Conference League action with plenty of confidence as they have won all four of their matches in the league phase so far and have yet to concede a single goal. Along with Chelsea, they are have won all four matches and scored 11 goals in the process so they are thoroughly enjoying their European campaign this season.

Their last three wins have all come by three goals or more but it was their opening win that was arguably their most impressive. They beat Spanish side Real Betis 1-0 and that set the tone for an impressive set of performances.

They now welcome Lugano to the Polish capital and this will be another tough test with the Swiss club top of the Super League in their homeland. They have had some good results in both domestic and European matches as they come off a 4-1 win away to Luzern.

They have won three of their four matches so far in the Conference League so they sit just within the top eight places. They will be keen to stay in the top eight but they will likely make rotations for this game given their comfortable position.

Both clubs have played TSZ in this competition and had varying success against them. Legia won 0-3 away from home while Lugano lost 4-1 in Serbia to the same opponents. That may just give us a good measure as to how these two teams compare and that is just another factor which supports us leaning towards the home side here.

Legia Warsaw vs Lugano Tip: Legia Warsaw to win
