Korea Republic vs Ghana prediction

The South Koreans come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Bolivia in Seoul the other day, courtesy of second-half goals from Son Heung-min and Cho Gue-sung. They have now suffered just one defeat in their last 19 matches since losing to Jordan in the semi-finals of the 2024 AFC Asian Cup.

Ghana, coached by Otto Addo, do have an impressive and improving squad, and they were very impressive in CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. However, the Black Stars did most recently suffer a 2-0 defeat away to Japan the other day with goals from Ritsu Doan and Takumi Minamino.

The Ghanaians have a good squad but need to find a way to be resolute against middling sides, and the Koreans are the favourites for this one with their home advantage.
