Kenya come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of the Ivory Coast in their most recent outing in Abidjan last month. That hammering at the hands of the African champions came on the back of back-to-back victories against the Seychelles and Burundi prior to that.
In Group I of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Madagascar were very impressive as they finished as runners’ up behind a strong Ghana side. They won six of their ten qualifiers, albeit they head into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering at then hands of Mali.
Madagascar have been much-improved in the last 12 to 18 months or so and will fancy themselves to continue their reasonable form against an average Kenya side.
