Kauno Zalgiris come into this one on the back of a 3-0 demolition of Dainava Alytus in the Lithuanian A Lyga to extend their unbeaten run of form to 15 matches across all competitions. Two of those 15 matches included a 4-1 aggregate defeat of Welsh minnows Penybont in the first qualifying round of this competition.
In the first qualifying round of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League, Valur Reykjavik produced a comfortable and impressive defeat of Flora Tallinn with a 5-1 aggregate victory, with a 3-0 home leg win and then a 2-1 victory in Estonia in the second-leg.
Both of these sides are performing well domestically and they both enjoyed comfortable European victories this month so both teams scoring would appear a good bet.
