Juan Manuel Cerundolo vs Jan-Lennard Struff prediction
Despite being the third seed, Juan Manuel Cerundolo suffered a loss in the first stage of Wimbledon qualifying. However, his transition back to the clay over the past few weeks has been an encouraging one, as he made the quarter-finals in Modena and then the final in Braunschweig on the Challenger Tour. That was his best result of the season so far.
Jan-Lennard Struff has struggled for much of the season but did well at Wimbledon again as he reached the third-round once more. He caused defending champion Carlos Alcaraz problems on Centre Court, taking the second set and having a break point to go in front in the fourth, but eventually lost out.
This is an intriguing clash as both players seem to be finding some form and will hope to have a strong run here in Gstaad. We can see this going deep into a third set between the pair.
