Jordan manager Jamal Sellami has announced his 26-man squad for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Lokomotiva Zagreb striker Ibrahim Sadat has since been replaced by Al Hussein defender Mohammad Taha due to injury.

Perhaps one of the weakest teams competing at this summer’s FIFA World Cup, debutants Jordan head to North America with a fairly limited squad.

The standout name in the Jordanian squad comes in attack with Musa Al Tamari, formerly of Montpellier and now at Rennes, set to take on the major goal scoring burden.

He is joined in the final third by some experienced attackers, such as Mohammad Abu Zrayq, Mahmoud Al Mardi and Ali Olwan, with the latter closing in on becoming Jordan’s all-time top scorer.

At the back, they have some stalwarts such as Ihsan Haddad and Abdallah Nasib, with Seoul defender Yazan Al Arab perhaps the pick of the bunch ahead of first-choice goalkeeper Yazeed Abdulaila.

Again, the middle of the park is dominated by regulars that have been a part of their rise to the tournament with the likes of Rajaei Ayed, Noor Al Rawabdeh, Ibrahim Sa’deh and Mohammad Abu Hashish all with over 50 caps for the Jordanians – and Nizar Al Rashdan closing in on that number.

Yazan Al Naimat, with 26 goals in 70 caps, hasn’t been selected since missing out on the FIFA Arab Cup due to injury and he again misses out alongside Baha’ Faisal in terms of relatively surprising absentees.
