After a brilliant return to form in 2025, Jonny Clayton has been excellent this season with four nightly wins, as well as two runners’ up appearances. ‘The Ferret’ has, as ever, finished efficiently but his all-round game has been impressive with good levels of scoring – with only Luke Littler and Luke Humphries to have thrown more 180s.

Stephen Bunting has little to play for other than pride and, of course, the little matter of a £10,000 weekly bonus for winning a night. For a second successive PDC Premier League season, ‘The Bullet’ has been indifferent this spring – despite winning on Night 4 in Belfast.

Clayton’s attention will be on next week so, while he may throw more maximums than his counterpart, backing Bunting to get a win under his belt wouldn’t be a bad shout.
