Open poll and resultsLuke Humphries vs Niels Zonneveld prediction
After taking a big scalp in the first round by beating Josh Rock, Niels Zonneveld followed that up with another notable triumph, defeating Gary Anderson 3-1. Zonneveld wasn’t as efficient against Anderson but capitalised on a poor performance from the Scotsman. Luke Humphries though, is unlikely to give Zonneveld as many opportunities.
Humphries started slowly and wasn’t at his best against Dave Chisnall in round one. But he improved vastly last time out, averaging 94.11 vs Jermaine Wattimena in a 3-0 thrashing. Should Humphries can replicate that level of scoring, he’ll likely wind up far too strong for Zonneveld. Although the ‘double in double out’ format can be unpredictable and gives the Dutchman a good chance of at least taking a set, ‘Cool Hand Luke’ should still emerge victorious.
