Japan vs Bolivia prediction

Hajime Moriyasu is in charge of an impressive Japanese side that have an excellent squad with lots of exciting attacking talents playing a slick style of football. They most recently eased themselves to a comfortable and impressive 2-0 defeat of Ghana the other day with goals from Takumi Minamino and Ritsu Doan.

Bolivia managed to pull off a shock win on the final day of CONMEBOL qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and so they finished seventh in the South American table to reach the intercontinental playoffs. The Bolivians most recently suffered a 2-0 loss to Korea Republic in Seoul.

Bolivia remain one of the weaker sides heading into the playoffs, especially outside of La Paz, and so Japan will be expected to ease to a home win here.

Japan vs Bolivia tip: Japan to win to nil
