Key stats

  • Jamaica have won each of their last five home World Cup qualifying matches, keeping clean sheets in the most recent four.
  • Jamaica have lost just once in their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (W8 D1), a 2-0 defeat away to Curaçao on 10 October 2025.
  • Curaçao are unbeaten in their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (W7 D3).
  • Curaçao have kept eight clean sheets in their last 13 World Cup qualifying matches.

Jamaica vs Curacao prediction

Jamaica have an immense amount of pressure on them for non-footballing reasons to bring joy to the Caribbean island but the Reggae Boyz, under the management of Steve McClaren, were pegged back the other day by a 1-1 draw with the Trinidad and Tobago to see them leapfrogged in Group B, once again, by Curacao.

With a squad of players all born in the Netherlands, former Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has a fair bit of pedigree in his Curacao side, who would become the smallest ever country to qualify for a FIFA World Cup should they avoid defeat in Jamaica, following their 7-0 demolition of Bermuda.

Curacao will know that the emotion of the Jamaicans could leave them exposed on the break, but the hosts simply must have enough quality and endeavour to create quite a few clear-cut chances.
