Istanbul Basaksehir vs Universitatea Craiova prediction

In their European campaign so far, Istanbul Basaksehir have managed three victories and a draw in their four matches so far. They defeated Bulgarian side Cherno More by five goals to nil on aggregate before a 4-2 aggregate defeat of Viking n the third qualifying round last week.

Universitatea Craiova come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Csikszereda in the Romanian top-flight at the weekend to keep them at the top-of-the-table early on domestically. They enjoyed a surprise and entertaining 6-4 aggregate victory over Spartak Trnava in the previous round.

Universitatea Craiova will believe they can provoke an entertaining clash in Turkey this week, but the hosts have to remain firm favourites for this first-leg.
