Ireland vs England prediction

England were denied the opportunity to win the series against South Africa due to rain after coming from behind vs the Proteas and thrashing them at Emirates Old Trafford. Jacob Bethell will lead the side in Ireland with regular captain Harry Brook rested and despite England taking the opportunity to give key players a break, the strength-in-depth of the tourists in white ball cricket makes them formidable opposition still.

Whilst Ireland have home advantage, they cannot match England in regards to overall quality both with bat and ball and with small boundaries expected in Malahide, a high-scoring contest is likely, as England look to clear the boundary rope with regularity. Any result other than victory for Bethell’s side would be seen as a big shock.

Ireland vs England tip: England to win
