Ignacio Buse won both of his qualifying rounds to enter the main draw here in Gstaad. This included a three set victory over former French Open quarter-finalist Albert Ramos-Vinolas. He did pick up a title this season and it occurred just one month ago, as he won the Heilbronn title on the Challenger Tour.
Laslo Djere last competed at Wimbledon but lost to Andrey Rublev in four sets in round one. His best form came during the South American swing, as he went through qualifying to reach the semi-finals in Buenos Aires and then picked up one of the most impressive titles of his career in Santiago two weeks later.
Djere has won both of their previous matches and defeated Buse in the first-round on his way to the title in Chile at the end of February. When fit, the Serb is a strong player on clay and should be viewed as a clear favourite for this one.
