The first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie saw Floriana defeat Haverfordwest County by two goals to one at the MFA Centenary Stadium in Malta. Ben Ahmun actually have County a 27th minute lead before Floriana turned things around thanks to goals from Gonzalo Gamarra and Jake Grech.

Haverfordwest County will have taken some real spirit and pride from that first-leg, and so they will believe that now, with their home advantage, they have a real chance of being able to take the game to Floriana.
