Hamrun Spartans vs RFS prediction

Hamrun Spartans come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw away from home against Tarxien on the opening day of the Maltese Premier League season at the weekend. They were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League last week, due to a 5-2 aggregate loss to Israeli champions Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Rigas Futbola Skola reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League and the Latvians have a good chance of repeating that again once again this season. The Latvians edged past Levadia Tallinn in the UEFA Champions League before losses to Malmo in that competition and then Kuopion Palloseura in the UEFA Europa League.

RFS will believe they are the firm favourites for this tie, and they will be expected to ensure things are kept tight ahead of the second-leg in the Latvian capital next week.

Hamrun Spartans vs RFS tip: Under 2.5 goals
