Gian van Veen vs Luke Littler prediction

Debutant Gian van Veen made an excellent start to his maiden Premier League campaign but he has become derailed significantly of late, not least because of health issues surrounding kidney stones.

After missing out entirely in Dublin two weeks ago, a less-than-100% Van Veen was beaten handily by Gerwyn Price in Berlin last week, and it remains to be seen what shape he is in ahead of Night 9 in Manchester.

In complete contrast, Luke Littler was sluggish in the early weeks but has burst into life recently, winning three of the last four nights to move to the top of the Premier League table.

It is difficult to look past the world champion here, especially against an opponent who has suffered health issues recently, so we're expecting Littler to cover a decent handicap.
