Gerwyn Price has pulled out of the PDC World Cup of Darts next month but ‘The Iceman’ has maintained decent form in the PDC Premier League. The Welshman hasn’t made it through to a final since Manchester on Night 9. He does begin the final week of the regular season sitting third, just two clear of the in-form Luke Humphries.

World number three Gian van Veen enjoyed an extremely impressive 2025 but the Dutchman has struggled to deal with the intensity and need for consistency at the very top level of darts this season. This week, he suffered a 6-0 loss to Andrew Gilding and then a 6-1 defeat to Joe Hunt in Players Championship 17 and 18, respectively. 

If Price wins this match then Humphries would have to win the night to leapfrog him in the Premier League table and the Welshman will be confident of doing so.
