THE PREDICTION
Thailand pulled off a fairly major upset the other day as they shared a 1-1 draw with South Korea in Seoul thanks to a 61st minute equaliser from Suphanat Mueanta, cancelling out Son Heung-min’s first-half goal. Thailand reached the Round of 16 of the AFC Asian Cup the other month and their last seven matches have now consisted of two victories, three draws and two defeats. They now face a South Korean side that are still manager-less after Jurgen Klinsmann’s resignation, following their semi-final exit to Qatar at the aforementioned AFC Asian Cup. Despite their poor result the other day, the Koreans do remain the favourites for this one.
