THE LOWDOWN
GRANADA
Granada gained promotion to the top-flight last season under the management of Paco Lopez but they were always expected to struggle and that has been the case so far this season. The Andalusians have managed just one win in their opening 12 matches as they sit in the bottom three and the relegation places.
The home team come into this on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Valencia in their most recent outing, last weekend. They have now suffered three successive Liga defeats since sharing a 2-2 draw with Barcelona last month, before the October international break, in a game in which they had led twice.
GETAFE
The re-appointment of Jose Bordalas towards the latter stages of last season helped Getafe eventually stave off relegation on the final day but the continued improvement that was expected and anticipated has not quite come to fruition with the capital city club struggling for a bit more precision and incision in attack.
Six of their 12 matches so far this season have resulted in draws, highlighting just how much they can be naturally stifled. However, after a remarkable 12-0 victory over Tardienta in the first round of the Copa del Rey, they ended a frustrating six-match winless run in La Liga with a typically slender 1-0 win over Cadiz.

THE PREDICTION
This is one between two sides that began the season expecting to be battling against relegation and, to different extents, that expectation has been proven to be the case. Granada are struggling with just one victory so far and a demotion straight back down to the second-tier is looking more and more likely. Getafe will have to really weaken if they are to be dragged into a genuine relegation battle. They will likely have it their way against a poor team and having it their way means a bit of a frustrating watch for the neutral.
