THE PREDICTION
Rosenborg overturned an awful deficit of four straight Norwegian Eliteserien losses by beaten lowly Mjondalen but just the one goal on Thursday night but it did get the job done at least. They will now battle it out against fellow giants Molde, who have already secured their European place by some margin, in the knowledge that they could still make it into third place. Rosenborg must win this game in-hand and their final fixture whilst hoping that Valerenga draw or lose theirs. However, it is unlikely to reach that level of excitement in a fortnight’s time as Molde will take great pleasure in condemning Rosenborg to a failure of a season by winning this. Seven wins and one draw in their last eight is excellent steamroller form bettered only by the league leaders Bodo/Glimt and Molde can decide the places at the top of the league with a win away from home in which both teams find the net.
