THE PREDICTION
Brann have not won an Eliteserien match since August, with four draws and four losses since then that sees them drifting ever-slowly further towards the wrong end of the table. The bottom of the table is where Haugesund received a shock defeat on Halloween, losing 1-0 away to lowly Aalesund to spoil a two-match winning streak they had been building. Haugesund will hope this to be a blip but a 5-1 loss to struggling Start back in early October does add to a rather odd recent pattern of losing to the lower-placed teams and beating the likes of Sarpsborg and Viking above them. If that is the case, Brann should be able to steal something here as they host such an erratic team. What seems more viable is that both teams should score, as has been the case in Brann’s last four league matches.
