The home team come into this on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Spezia a couple of weeks ago. Sampdoria have struggled throughout this campaign and they are in a battle against relegation. They sit just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
