THE LOWDOWN
JUVENTUS
The last couple of years at Juventus have been tumultuous to say the least. After finishing seventh last season after a points deduction, The Old Lady were then disqualified from the UEFA Europa Conference League by UEFA, too. Now this season, they have lost Paul Pogba due to a doping ban and Nicolo Fagioli due to a ban for illegal betting.
On the pitch, Massimiliano Allegri’s Turin-based club have been quite impressive and come into this on the back of a mammoth victory last weekend. They defeated AC Milan by a goal to nil at San Siro to make it ten points collected in their last four matches as they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots.
VERONA
Hellas Verona took advantage of a new Serie A ruling last season. They won an end of season playoff against Spezia after the two teams were level on points at the end of the season. That was a rule introduced at the start of the season and it just so happened that Verona would benefit from it less than 12 months later.
Then, over the summer, they appointed Marco Baroni, who had been in charge of Lecce and performed well by getting them up and then keeping them up comfortably. The visitors started with back-to-back victories but have collected just two points in their seven matches since then and they have managed to score just six goals all season.
THE TEAM NEWS

Massimiliano Allegri is without the aforementioned Pogba and Fagioli, whilst three defenders, Alex Sandro, Mattia De Sciglio and Alex Sandro, all out injured.

QUESTIONABLE:
VERONA
Hellas Verona have no definite absentees but they could be without the likes of Isak Hien, Juan Cabal and Jayden Braaf, who are all doubts for this weekend.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Montipo; Magnani, Dawidowicz, Amione; Faraoni, Hongla, Serdar, Doig; Ngonge, Folorunsho; Duric
UNAVAILABLE:
QUESTIONABLE: Hien (Injured), Cabal (Injured), Braaf (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
Backing a comfortable Juventus victory has always been something that should not necessarily be something of much value as they try and squeeze the opposition. Value here, though, can be found in defeating the opposition to nil. The Old Lady have been in good but typically tedious and steady, controlling form where they limit the opposition to few if any chances. A low-scoring Juve win or a Juve win to nil looks the way to go for a game against a team to have scored just six so far.
BETTING TIP: JUVENTUS TO WIN TO NIL
