THE LOWDOWN
FROSINONE
Immediately after gaining promotion back to the top-flight of Italian football last season, Frosinone parted company with 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Fabio Grosso and replaced him with former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco as they looked to implement an attacking style of football that would see them compete and be entertaining in Serie A.
The Romans come into this one, though, under major pressure and Di Francesco may not have long left in the job as Frosinone begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom three and the relegation places. Their 1-0 loss to fellow strugglers Sassuolo last weekend means they have collected just one point from their last six matches in Serie A.
LAZIO
Last Monday, Lazio suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to an Udinese side who were enjoying just their fourth win of the Serie A campaign with goals scored by Lorenzo Lucca and Oier Zarraga. That was the final straw for former Chelsea and Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri, who resigned a day later but not many tears were shed by Lazio supporters.
Sarri has been replaced by his long time assistant coach, Giovanni Martusciello, who has signed a contract to take charge until the end of the season. The Romans had just been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League, too, losing to Bayern Munich in the Round of 16. They have now suffered five defeats in their last six matches across all competitions.

LAZIO
Lazio will be without their goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel, for this one as he is missing through injury, whilst both Patric and Nicolo Rovella are doubtful, too.
PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Sepe; Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Vecino, Cataldi, Luis Alberto; Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni
UNAVAILABLE: Provedel (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Patric (Injured), Rovella (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
As mentioned, the intention was that Federico Di Francesco would implement an attacking style of football and they have been entertaining this season. Their 28 matches so far this season have consisted of 92 goals as they drift into the bottom three. Lazio will need to simply try and enjoy these final couple of months because it has been a fairly miserable campaign thus far so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one on Saturday evening.
