Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Jamaica Kingsmen prediction

Guyana Amazon Warriors were stunned in the first qualifier after topping the league stage table. After being asked to bowl by Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, the Warriors were skittled out for only 76 with eight of their ten wickets falling to the spin bowling duo of Shadab Khan and Sufyan Moqim, with Shadab taking a hat-trick at one stage. Antigua made very easy work of the run chase in just over five overs for the loss of only one wicket.

How fast can Guyana recover from such a shock result with their tournament now on the line. Prior to that result they had won eight from ten. Now a second straight win for Jamaica Kingsmen would knock them out after they thrashed Barbados Tridents in the eliminator, also by nine wickets while chasing down 145.

You have to assume that we could see spin bowlers heavily influencing proceedings again and this is where Imran Tahir could come into play. He boasts 14 wickets across this year’s CPL and as Guyana’s captain, is the man who has to step up when his side needs him most. He took the Warriors’ only wicket against Antigua and should be backed to pick up another 2+ vs Jamaica.
