THE PREDICTION
Julio Cesar Ribas’ Gibraltar come into this on the back of a 3-1 defeat at home to Latvia in their most recent outing in November. Since becoming a full UEFA member in 2014, Gibraltar have been fun and intriguing with an intent on attacking that wasn’t usual for a ‘minnow’. However, they have, if anything, got weaker and they come into this on the back of ten successive defeats in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification in which they conceded 43 goals. Grenada come into this on the back of no football since the group stages of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the summer of 2021. Their group stage campaign consisted of three defeats from three against Honduras, Qatar and Panama, conceding 11 goals and scoring just one. Whilst Grenada are not necessarily a remotely strong side, they do have several EFL players that would put themselves on a pedestal above the quality of Gibraltar. Regardless, it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter.
