THE PREDICTION

This is a clash between the surprise packages from the last two seasons. Stuttgart who avoided the drop in the end of season relegation/promotion playoff last season, are now flying high in the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots this time around. Union Berlin, on the other hand, have collapsed from finishing fourth last year and into the bottom-half this season but have improved after the departure of Urs Fischer. Despite their improvement, they remain firmly down towards the bottom section of the Bundesliga table and they were most recently beaten 2-0 by Borussia Dortmund. Stuttgart, especially at home, will be firm favourites to extend their unbeaten run of form to seven matches in the Bundesliga.

TIP: STUTTGART TO WIN
