THE PREDICTION
After gaining promotion to the top-flight of German football in 2022, Bochum managed to stave off relegation with an impressive run of form towards the end of the campaign. This time around they have again been relatively difficult to beat but five draws in ten matches as them languishing in the bottom-half of the table. They face a Cologne side that are currently sticking by Steffen Baumgart but they begin the weekend sitting rock-bottom in the Bundesliga table with just one victory in their opening ten matches. The two teams have combined for just 18 goals so far this season and a fairly low quality encounter is in store in Bochum.
