Three defeats in their last four games - albeit all against teams currently in the top five - have left Wolfsburg hanging by a thread in third place, with just two points separating them and fifth-placed Dortmund. With another tough assignment away to RB Leipzig the following weekend, the Wolves will settle for nothing less than a win here. Eighth-placed Union Berlin still have their own European hopes but they have struggled away from home recently, winning just one of their last eight away league outings. Nevertheless, both of these teams are hard to beat, boasting the second and fourth-best defences in the Bundesliga respectively.
