THE PREDICTION

Leaders Bayern Munich must get over the disappointment of their midweek Champions League exit as they face a tricky assignment away to third-placed Wolfsburg. The Wolves, like Bayern, are unbeaten at home in the league this season. They have not beaten the champions since 2015, losing 10 of the 11 meetings since, but they have as good a chance of ending that run as they have ever done. Bayern are still missing several key players - not least top scorer Robert Lewandowski - while off the field, there are ongoing political issues and speculation around the future of coach Hansi Flick. The hosts have been rock-solid at the Volkswagen Arena, where they have not even conceded in their last five games, so double chance on a Wolfsburg win or draw certainly has to be considered.
