THE PREDICTION

Werder Bremen are now only outside the bottom three on goal difference following seven consecutive Bundesliga defeats. They could not stop their losing run in the cup semi-finals last weekend either, although they did take RB Leipzig to extra time. A result here would therefore be most welcome, but they have only won one of their last nine encounters with Bayer Leverkusen in all competitions, and the visitors have taken 10 points from their five games under Hannes Wolf, although they have yet to win on the road under the interim boss. There have been some high-scoring clashes between these sides in recent years and this one could well follow suit. Bremen have to go for it and Leverkusen have the pace in attack to hit them on the counter, so consider both teams to score.
