THE PREDICTION
Werder Bremen went down to their sixth successive league defeat at home to Mainz in midweek and have very much been dragged back into the relegation fight, which they have managed to stay away from for most of the campaign. It does not get any easier for them with a trip to the Alten Forsterei, where Union Berlin are unbeaten in the league since September last year. Since then, they have recorded six wins and eight draws at home, conceding just 13 goals. Considering that Union still have sixth or seventh place within their grasp and that Bremen are in freefall, the home side must be fancied to come out on top in this clash.
